Most side effects of B12/MIC are generally mild in nature and dissipate within a short time frame following administration.
Most Common B12/MIC Side Effects
Pain or redness at the injection site
Itching or a feeling of swelling all over the body
Muscle cramps & weakness
Upset stomach & urinary problems
Swelling in the ankles or feet
Unusual tiredness
If irritation continues to occur, apply an over-the-counter itch cream, preferably with hydrocortisone, or discontinue use entirely.
In more rare yet severe cases, you may experience irregular heartbeat or trouble breathing. If this happens, discontinue use immediately and contact your healthcare provider.
Other Important Safety Information
Do not use B12/MIC if you are currently pregnant, breastfeeding or plan to become pregnant or breastfeed.
